Key Details:

  • Location: Onsite in the Farmington, Utah area
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Caseload & Site Info: Specific caseload and school site details will be discussed during the interview with the Special Services Director.

What Were Looking For:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Valid Utah School Psychologist license
  • Prior experience working in a school setting is preferred, particularly in providing psychological assessments and support
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, interventions, and IEP processes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and social development
  • Provide individual and group counseling for students dealing with personal, social, and emotional challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions
  • Support students with special needs in overcoming barriers to learning and personal growth
  • Assist with crisis intervention and provide ongoing support to students in need
  • Monitor student progress and adjust psychological support strategies accordingly
