Key Details:
- Location: Onsite in the Farmington, Utah area
- Start Date: ASAP
- Caseload & Site Info: Specific caseload and school site details will be discussed during the interview with the Special Services Director.
What Were Looking For:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid Utah School Psychologist license
- Prior experience working in a school setting is preferred, particularly in providing psychological assessments and support
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, interventions, and IEP processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and social development
- Provide individual and group counseling for students dealing with personal, social, and emotional challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions
- Support students with special needs in overcoming barriers to learning and personal growth
- Assist with crisis intervention and provide ongoing support to students in need
- Monitor student progress and adjust psychological support strategies accordingly
