Contract Position
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher for an onsite, full-time position serving elementary students (K-4) in the Batesville, MS area. This is a school-based contract role for the 2025-26 school year.
Position Details:

Grade Levels: Kindergarten through 4th Grade

Caseload: Approximately 10 students
-
Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week

Setting: Resource / Inclusion Classroom

Instructional Support Areas: Reading and Math
-
Hourly Pay Range: $28 - $38, depending on experience and qualifications
Responsibilities:
-
Provide specialized instruction to meet the individual needs of students in reading and math
-
Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with IEP team members
-
Monitor and report on student progress regularly
-
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
-
Maintain accurate documentation and pliance with district and state regulations
-
Create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
Requirements:
-
Valid Mississippi teaching license with a Special Education endorsement
-
Previous experience working in a resource or inclusion setting preferred

Strong munication and collaboration skills
-
Ability to adapt instruction to meet a variety of student needs

Must pass background checks and meet district hiring requirements
