Location: Joliet, IL
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students, assessing their psychological and educational needs.
- Provide written reports and recommendations based on evaluation findings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Serve as a consultant to school staff regarding mental health and educational strategies.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to students and families as needed.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in Arabic, with the ability to conduct evaluations and communicate effectively.
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) in School Psychology.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings.
- Strong assessment skills and familiarity with various evaluation tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse populations.
