Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years special education experience required.

Two Special Education Teachers are needed to support elementary students in self-contained K-3 classrooms. This contract position for the full school year offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a small group of students within a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students
• Collaborating with a paraprofessional assigned to assist with classroom instruction
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies to meet unique learning needs
• Maintaining clear records and municating regularly with families and school staff
• Creating a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters academic and social development

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with K-3 students in self-contained settings preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals and other educational team members
• Strong organizational and munication skills
• mitment to supporting student growth and individual learning styles

Location: Elementary school setting in Louisburg, NC.
