We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive individual who takes pride in their work and possesses strong cleaning skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Conduct commercial cleaning of facilities, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and well-maintained.
- Execute floor care duties such as buffing, stripping, and waxing floors to enhance their appearance and longevity.
- Assist with porter duties, including setting up and breaking down furniture for events or meetings.
- Carry out custodial tasks in accordance with established safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
- Engage in facilities maintenance activities to address minor repairs and upkeep of the premises.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail
