Associate Director, Donor Family Services
DonorConnect is seeking a full-time Associate Director, Donor Family Services. The Associate Director is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and day-to- day operations of the Aftercare, Events, and Volunteer programs. This role also involves monitoring and reporting on donor family satisfaction, offering emotional support, resolving conflicts, and providing practical resources to donor families. The Associate Director oversees the planning, coordination, and management of the Celebration of Life Monument and the COLM Gathering. They work closely with the Director of Family Services to provide direct support to donor families and collaborate with all departments to ensure alignment of goals and strategies. The position is responsible for the strategic goals, key performance indicators, and financial activities of their department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Training/Education/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, and/or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
Experience Required:
- Minimum of three years of experience working with grieving families
- Minimum of two years of experience planning and executing large and small group events preferred
- Minimum of two years of experience coordinating volunteers preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Understanding and minimal training in grief and loss issues Medical terminology experience in a medical environment Ability to manage a volunteer program
- Knowledge of related computer application
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Sensitive with ability to maintain confidentiality
- Able to work independently and to prioritize work Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to move up to 10 pounds at times with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to reason logically and make sound decisions, to consider alternative and diverse perspectives, to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
