Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years special education experience required.

An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated professional skilled in providing specialized educational support. This position is within an elementary school setting, focusing on meeting the diverse needs of students from kindergarten to first grade with intensive special education requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Valid New Hampshire Special Education License
  • Experience working with young children, particularly in special education
  • Ability to assist with toileting and wheelchair transfers
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual skills are a plus

Details:

  • Pay rate: Starts at $36
  • Location: Nashua, NH
  • Schedule: 35 hours/wk (5 days)
  • Duration: August 4, 2025, to May 31, 2026.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
  • Provide direct support to students with varied abilities, focusing on their unique challenges
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student development and needs
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and IEP documentation
