Location: Port Angeles, WA
Job Type: Part-Time | 20 hours per week
Contract Length:September 2nd, 2025 - June 12th, 2026
Position Summary:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time School Psychologist for the 20252026 school year. The school psychologist will provide a range of psychological services to support student learning, behavior, and mental health in alignment with our mission to foster academic and personal growth for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations for students referred for special education or behavioral concerns.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement appropriate interventions.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on eligibility and services.
- Support Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes.
- Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention when needed.
- Promote mental wellness and positive school climate through prevention and consultation.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in School Psychology
- Washington School Psychologist license
- Washington ESA credential
- Washington OSPI fingerprints
- Knowledge of special education laws, psychological assessment tools, and behavior intervention strategies.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience in a school setting preferred.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Work Schedule: 23 days per week (flexible depending on school needs)
- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience and availability
- Location: Middleschool (TBD)
