Soliant Education is seeking a passionate and qualified Special Education Teacher for a school district in ReadingKS.Intensive Skills/Autism teacher approximately 8 students on caseload some would attend in the morning and some would attend in the afternoon. If youre mitted to making a difference in students lives and meet Kansas credentialing requirements, we want to hear from you!

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and/or pursuing education in Special Education or ABA.
• Experience or training with children (ages 3-21) with moderate to severe disabilities and challenging behaviors.
• Experience teaching functional munication skills using vocal methods and AAC devices.
• Masters degree in Special Education.
• Very well versed in the more plicated cases with big behavioral challenges, physical management, and the older age groups.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree.
• Eligible for or holding a Kansasteaching certificate with a Special Education endorsement.
• Current or willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR certification.
• Training or willingness to be trained in QBS Safety-Care for de-escalation, crisis management, and physical intervention.
