Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years deaf & hard of hearing experience required.

An experienced educator is sought for a unique opportunity to teach students who are deaf or hard of hearing in a fully virtual environment. This position is designed for the 2025-2026 school year, offering a flexible and manageable caseload that allows for meaningful engagement with students.

Qualifications:

• Active or eligible Kansas DHH teaching license
• Experience with virtual instruction
• Strong understanding of IEP implementation and service delivery
• Effective communication and time management skills
• Proficient in using virtual platforms and assistive technology

Location:

• Remote position based in Andover, KS

Responsibilities:

• Provide virtual instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Deliver direct services and consultative support as outlined in IEPs
• Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and manage IEPs
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
• Maintain regular communication with general education teachers, interpreters, and related service providers
