Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available for the upcoming school year in Elgin, SC, serving K-12 students across two school sites. This contract position spans July 29, 2025, through May 23, 2026, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities and duties include:
- Providing psychological services, assessments, and interventions tailored to student needs in grades K-12.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and administrators to support student learning and well-being.
- Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral supports.
- Managing a caseload determined by district needs and personal preference to optimize effectiveness.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintaining accurate student records.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid South Carolina certification at Level II or III as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings.
- Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills.
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and provide student-centered support.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
