Our client, a leading engineering firm, is seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to join their team. The Technical Writer will play a critical role in translating complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. This individual will collaborate closely with engineers, developers, and product teams to ensure all written materials meet the needs of both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze the target audience to ensure documentation aligns with user knowledge levels and expectations.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and product marketing teams to gather and verify technical information.
- Write and edit a wide range of technical documents including, but not limited to:
- User manuals
- Instruction guides
- Technical specifications
- FAQs
- Online help systems
- Tutorials
- Developer guides
- Organize and format content in accordance with industry and company standards.
- Maintain documentation revisions and updates as needed.
- Enhance written content with visuals such as diagrams, charts, and photos to improve user understanding.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Entry level experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar documentation role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to simplify complex information.
- Strong attention to detail and a user-focused mindset.
- Ability to think critically and approach information from an end-user perspective.
- Proficiency in documentation tools and platforms (e.g., Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, Microsoft Word, or similar).
- Familiarity with content management systems and version control tools is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a technical field such as Engineering or Computer Science.
- A solid portfolio showcasing previous technical writing work is highly encouraged.
