Job Location : Fremont, CA (90%+ travel, travel may fluctuate based on operational needs)

Exempt/ Non-Exempt : Exempt

Reporting Structure : : Director of Foodservice


Position Summary


The Foodservice Trainer works close with the Category Managers to implement and maintain foodservice programs at sites. He/she interacts extensively with the Operations Team to provide support for operational excellence, and different projects and day-to-day tasks.


Primary Responsibilities


  • Work with Category Managers to develop training materials for foodservice programs
  • Ability to analyze data to guide store visit scheduling
  • Launch new foodservice programs including setup, training, and support first week sales
  • Train the Operations Team and ensure programs are well executed including record keeping, inventory management, safe food handling practices, customer service, correct equipment use, and care of equipment
  • Visit sites daily to ensure foodservice programs are well executed
  • Provide feedback to Category Managers on how to improve programs
  • Complete detailed site visit reports summarizing foodservice conditions
  • Troubleshoot various foodservice equipment as needed
  • Act as a role model for consistent food safety, customer service, sanitation practices and occupational safety
  • Any other projects as assigned based on business needs


Requirements:

Skills and Competencies


  • Quick serve foodservice experience
  • Communication and interpersonal skills – ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Management skills – includes the ability to manage time effectively and be focused on setting and executing objectives and priorities
  • Attention to detail - commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Team Player – ability and willingness to be a flexible and innovative team player with a roll-up- the-sleeves and hands on approach
  • Foodservice experience,

  2. Food knowledge and safety
  3. Operating kitchen and beverage equipment
  4. Sanitizing procedures
  5. Servesafe food handler certified is a plus but not mandatory
