Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A certified school psychologist is needed to support K-12 students at a school in Redford, Michigan. This contract position is set for the full school year.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments for students to identify learning needs and challenges
- Collaborating with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing counseling and support services to students
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and interventions
- Documenting and reporting findings to meet state and district requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a school psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Ability to municate effectively with staff, students, and families
- Knowledge of special education laws and procedures
