A part-time School Psychologist position is available to provide vital psychological and educational support to students within a school environment. This role requires travel and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on student development by addressing their social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify students social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Utilize evidence-based strategies to support academic and emotional growth
- Provide counseling services to students and offer guidance to parents regarding behavioral and mental health concerns
- Continuously monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Participate actively in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide program development
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience within a school setting is preferred
- Strong proficiency in assessment tools and methods
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and staff
Location:
- Position involves travel with opportunities in various school settings; primary assignment based in Delhi, NY area
