A full-time Social Worker position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, working with Kindergarten through 3rd-grade students in an onsite elementary school setting located in Naperville, IL. This role offers the opportunity to support a self-contained classroom and collaborate closely with special education leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct social work services to students in grades K-3 within a self-contained classroom environment.
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and connect families with community resources.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education directors, and assistant directors to address student needs and promote social-emotional development.
- Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and contribute insights to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to school policies regarding confidentiality and student welfare.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Possession of a Professional Educator License (PEL) is required.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in special education settings, is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to manage a self-contained classroom caseload and work collaboratively within a team environment.
Location and Schedule:
- Position is onsite only at an elementary school in Naperville, IL.
- Full-time with a commitment for the 2025-2026 academic year.
