Full Time High School Career Coach Position Available

$55,000+/year

New Albany School District- New Albany High School

The CREATE Foundation has authorized an open Career Coach position for the public high school in New Albany, Mississippi. This position will dually report to the School District and CREATE for the Fall, 2025 semester. Applications will be accepted through Friday, May 1 at 5:00 PM, Central Time. Screening and full panel interviews will be in early June with a goal of having the new Career Coach on-board by July 1, 2025.

Career Coach responsibilities will include guidance to define students’ career aspirations, certifications, apprenticeships, and workforce training. Additionally, Career Coaches support students in achieving their educational, career and financial goals while complementing existing school site programs and industry partnerships. The Career Coach will be responsible for documentation of student /parent /community interaction, networking for business partnerships, and additional training prior to and during the school year.

Position Requirements

Career Coach applicants must possess:

· A four- year college degree

· Five+ years of work experience, preferably including teaching experience in a public school

· Local business and professional connections and a willingness to make new connections
