Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years visually impaired experience required.

A full-time Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) position is available for the uping school year in Peyton, CO. This role serves a K-12 caseload and requires a Colorado TVI license. The contract spans a full semester, starting August 11, 2025, and ending May 21, 2026.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support for students with visual impairments across K-12 grade levels
• Assess student needs and develop individualized education plans
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and specialists to ensure appropriate acmodations
• Travel between school sites as needed to serve assigned caseload
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado Teacher of the Visually Impaired license required
• Experience working with visually impaired students in an educational setting preferred
• Ability to manage a diverse K-12 caseload effectively
• Strong munication and collaboration skills
• Willingness to travel between schools within the district
