Position Overview
As a Leadership Development Consultant, you will contribute to the delivery of Talent Plus's overarching learning and development business line strategy. Reporting to the Executive Director of Learning & Development, this role focuses on designing and implementing innovative L&D business line solutions that scale to exceed client goals, support strategic initiatives, and enhance business outcomes. You will collaborate with internal team members and clients to provide coaching, facilitate engaging sessions, and help deploy transformative learning programs.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic L&D Program Creation and Delivery: You will play a key role in executing the L&D strategy by deploying innovative programs that best deliver our science through talent insights, leadership development, coaching, and capability-building opportunities. By deeply understanding our client's talent needs, and leveraging innovative technologies, you will ensure that programs remain impactful, scalable, and are aligned to strategic people goals with agreed upon accountability measures.
Client Engagement and Collaboration: In this role, you will build trusted relationships with leaders, serving as a strategic advisor for learning and development programs. Leverage your expertise to create and deliver off the shelf, customized and high impact learning solutions that add value for our client partners.
Coaching and Facilitation: You will provide coaching and feedback to executives and managers, enabling them to reach their fullest potential and drive organizational success. Through facilitation of in-person and live-virtual sessions, you will deliver dynamic learning experiences designed to inspire action, increase accountability and enhance performance.
Innovation and Technology Integration: With an integrated mindset, you will contribute to the adoption of innovative learning technologies, helping to design programs that incorporate talent insights, adaptive learning, AI, and coaching strategies. Your role will include staying abreast of emerging trends to enhance the scalability and personalization of learning experiences.
Measurement and Continuous Improvement: To ensure the effectiveness of learning initiatives, you will implement robust evaluation tools and use data-driven insights to refine programs continually. By partnering with stakeholders, you will identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.
Collaboration with Leadership: Working closely with the Executive Director, L&D Consulting Team, and our operational leaders, you will help shape the vision for learning and development at Talent Plus. Your role will involve contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, fostering accountability, and ensuring that we deliver excellence in all aspects of program design and execution.
To Be Successful, You Must
You must demonstrate a strong strategic mindset, and exceptional coaching and facilitation skills, with a proven ability to align Learning & Development (L&D) programs to drive people strategies in key talent areas. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of the top challenges facing organizations today, including leadership development, performance management and succession planning, career development and individualized development plans, and engagement and retention strategies.
You must possess a collaborative mindset and the ability to problem solve and adapt solutions to diverse client needs, ensuring programs are impactful and aligned with business objectives. A comprehensive understanding of Talent Plus's L&D solutions, our science, and how they can address these critical talent challenges is essential. Additionally, you should be proficient in leveraging the latest learning technologies and methodologies to deliver innovative solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant master's degree preferred or at least 5-years or more of experience in leadership of Learning and Development, Learning Management, Organization Development or similar teams.
- Proven experience in a senior learning and development role, ideally within a consulting or corporate environment.
- Expertise in coaching and facilitation, with an executive coaching certification preferred.
- Proficiency in designing and deploying technology-integrated learning solutions.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to inform and improve learning outcomes.
- Familiarity with global learning audiences and diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% to meet client and organizational needs.
Travel Requirements
This role requires approximately 30% travel, both domestically and internationally, to meet client and organizational needs. Travel may include on-site client meetings, facilitation of training sessions, workshops, and collaboration with client teams. Candidates must possess the flexibility to accommodate occasional extended or irregular hours during travel periods. All travel expenses will be covered in accordance with company policies
