Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years paraprofessional or special education experience required.
Job Overview:
We are seeking multiple K-12 School Paraprofessional to assist our students. In this role, you will assist students in meeting their academic, social, and personal goals by working closely with teachers and specialists in a structured and supportive environment. You will help foster a positive learning atmosphere and provide direct support to students with varying needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students with developmental disabilities within a substantially separate classroom.
- Assist the classroom teacher with instruction, behavior management, and classroom organization.
- Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students as directed by the teaching staff.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment that promotes the well-being and academic growth of all students.
- Assist students with daily living skills such as feeding, toileting and diaperingas needed.
Requirements:
- Education: Paraprofessional Educational Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher
- OR a Para II certification
- Previous experience working with students with developmental disabilities, particularly in an elementary school setting.
