Job Summary
If you are an early childhood teacher looking for an exciting career in education where you can make a difference in the lives of young children, Kids R Kids Learning Academy of Shadow Creek Ranch in Pearland, Texas is seeking full and part time teachers. Responsibilities

- Being experienced, independent and an ambitious person
- Having a passion for infants
- Being mobile (move around/ floor time/ be able to get up and down in timely manner, able to pick up infants bending and stooping)
- Ability to engage (play time with the infants/no baby talk)
- Following room schedules
- Recording daily reports
- Keeping file of monthly infant care sheets
- Teamwork must be exemplified
- Communication with parents and team mates
- No cell phones while caring for children
- Following minimum standards (State issued requirements)
- Individual attention given to each child including playing, talking, cuddling and holding
- Holding and comforting a child who is upset
- Prompt attention given to physical needs, such as feeding and diapering
- Talking to children as they are fed, changed, and held, such as naming objects, singing or saying rhymes
- Ensuring the environment is free of objects that may cause choking in children younger than three years
- Never leaving an infant unsupervised

Qualifications
- Previous experience as a childcare teacher or childcare provider
- Strong understanding of child development
- Patient, kind, and nurturing
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- First aid/CPR certified
