An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated and skilled professional with recent teletherapy experience to provide essential services in a K-12 setting located in Silver Springs, NV. This contract position offers the chance to make a significant impact on students' lives through innovative virtual therapy while benefiting from a supportive and flexible work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to elementary, middle, and high school students via teletherapy.
  • Assess student needs and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to enhance their learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated paraeducator who will facilitate sessions and assist with implementing therapy strategies.
  • Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and school staff regarding progress and necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Stay updated on best practices and developments in teletherapy methods to ensure effective outcomes for students.
  • Document all therapy sessions and student progress in compliance with educational and health standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure and certification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Recent teletherapy experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
  • Ability to work independently while being a proactive part of the educational team.
