<li>Collaborate with the student's parents and other educators to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning experience.</li>
<li>Monitor and assess the student's progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary to ensure optimal learning outcomes.</li>
<li>Maintain detailed records of the student's progress and communicate regularly with parents and the Motivated Care Services team.</li>
</ul>
 Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.</li>
<li>New York State certification as a Special Education Teacher.</li>
<li>Experience working with children with special needs, preferably in a one-on-one setting.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and ability to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.</li>
<li>Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.</li>
