Job Description
Job DescriptionImplementation Consultant
About the Role
Voyage Advisory is seeking a hands-on implementation professional to support one of our long-standing clients, a fast-moving software company that delivers digital services and payment solutions to government customers. This role is part client-facing consultant, part configuration expert, and part project coordinator. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, learning new systems quickly, and solving real-world problems through thoughtful implementation.
This is not a pure project manager role, though strong coordination and communication skills are critical. You’ll lead smaller client implementation efforts end-to-end, support larger projects alongside a broader team, and dig into the software to configure modules, gather requirements, and translate client needs into usable, well-structured solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate implementation workstreams from kick-off through go-live
- Facilitate client meetings to gather business requirements and understand priorities
- Configure the front-end aspects of the client’s platform based on documented needs
- Work closely with integration managers and technical teams using tools like GraphQL, SQL, Mulesoft, and Python
- Track tasks, surface risks, and ensure successful delivery against client milestones
- Translate business needs into configuration logic and structured documentation
- Support user acceptance testing and troubleshoot functional issues post-launch
What We're Looking For
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in software implementation, solution consulting, or business analysis
- Experience working with public sector or enterprise clients preferred
- Strong understanding of modern SaaS solutions and how to configure them
- Familiarity with technical tools and languages such as GraphQL, SQL, Mulesoft, or APIs (you won't be coding, but you'll need to understand how the parts fit together)
- Comfort working across stakeholders: clients, developers, product teams, and leadership
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep workstreams on track
- High attention to detail, with a bias for action and client service
Other Details
- This is a full-time role at Voyage Advisory
- Some travel may be required, depending on client needs
- Compensation includes competitive salary, bonus eligibility, and access to Voyage benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k), etc.)
- This is a remote position
