The Web Developer is responsible for maintaining, developing and managing the American Polymer Corp. brand of websites. This role’s primary focus is owning the direction of the content management system and delivering the strategy for better web site traffic, conversion growth and a frictionless digital experience across all customer journeys. This is a onsite position. Not remote.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Web Development, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in website management, digital marketing, or a related role.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal.
- Experience with SEO, Google Analytics, and other web analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITES:
Website Management:
- Oversee the daily operation of the company websites, ensuring it is up-to-date, functional, and aligned with the brand’s goals and messaging.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to manage website design, development, and maintenance projects.
- Develop and manage web development activities and support procedures, tools, and documentation, writing scope documents, and developing standards and procedures for web site structure, appearance, graphics, content aging, and accessibility.
- Manage Google Tag Manager (GTM) to ensure accurate setup of tags and conversion events.
Ecommerce Strategy:
- Create and execute an e-commerce strategy aimed at boosting online sales and enhancing conversion rates.
- Manage the online checkout process, including product listings, pricing, and promotions.
- Track and analyze e-commerce performance metrics, utilizing tools like GA4 and Microsoft Clarity, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Formulate and implement CRO strategies to test and improve the website's sales funnel.
Content Management:
- Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with marketing objectives and engages our target audience.
- Manage the creation, editing, and publishing of website content, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia elements.
- Ensure all website content is optimized for search engines (SEO) and adheres to best practices.
Digital Marketing:
- Partner with the marketing team to strategize and implement online campaigns, ensuring seamless integration with the website and landing pages.
- Optimize landing pages and conversion funnels to maximize lead generation and sales.
User Experience (UX) and Design:
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Work with designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly web pages.
- Ensure the website is accessible, mobile-friendly, and compliant with web standards and regulations.
- Establish protocol guidelines for systems, standards, & technical requirements; Conceptualizes the graphical user interface (GUI) of the organization’s website, user flows, and drives best-in-class user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) based on industry practices; Ensures the integrity of all code and links; Refreshes website content to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information and images.
- Execute and manage AB / Multi-variate testing experiments that drive web personalization and improve the overall online experience.
- Creative thinker with a passion for digital marketing and web technologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and online retail.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Knowledge of A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques.
- Experience with marketing automation tools like HubSpot, Marketo, or similar.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $79,000.00 per year
