$2,600 sign-on bonus

$3/hour shift premium for 2nd or 3rd shift (applied after training)
Note: This is a 2nd or 3rd shift position, with initial training on 1st shift.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Machinist with programming experience to set up, operate, and program a variety of CNC machines for the production of precision metal components. This role requires a solid understanding of mechanical principles, G-code programming, machining techniques, and shop math to ensure efficient, accurate part production per engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes

Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs (G-code) for precision and efficiency

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production instructions

Measure and inspect parts to ensure conformance to specifications

Diagnose and resolve machining and programming issues to maintain quality and minimize downtime

Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Key Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in CNC programming (G-code/M-code)

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Strong understanding of machining processes and sequence logic

Solid skills in shop math, including:
-
Fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions
-
Basic algebra, geometry, and introductory trigonometry

Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with machining tools and techniques

Strong problem-solving skills, especially in complex or non-standard situations
Requirements:

Hands-on experience in CNC machining or programming, or equivalent technical training

Experience with CNC mills and/or lathes preferred

Familiarity with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360) is a plus
