RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Update necessary tracking system(s) to ensure that project and/or program status is maintained with complete accuracy, including third party management systems (Salesforce, OSP, etc.)
- Use independent discretion to review contracts, provide feedback and guidance to supervisor and Legal regarding contractual obligations, required amendments, etc.
- Provide direction and assign the appropriate workload to various teams, providing ongoing guidance and tracking project progress to ensure successful completion.
- Track deadlines, dates for meetings and other project associated events, and expenses.
- Create and distribute reports and other correspondence relevant to the team or program.
- Determine, schedule and assist with preparation for various meetings.
- Communicate all issues impacting project statuses to management prior to reaching critical status.
- Develop and maintain accurate and complete files for projects and programs; continues to monitor for integrity and completeness.
- Create, analyze and provide ad-hoc reports as requested.
- Coordinate tasks and documentation of project deliverables and milestones.
- Assist and ensure appropriate and timely response for outages and emergencies.
- Various office management functions such as supply ordering, package shipment, event coordination and business trip planning and scheduling, timesheet review.
- Exercise independent judgement in problem-solving and adapting to project challenges.
- Identify challenges and proactively develop solutions.
- Contribute to the development of project strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide input to overall business planning.
- Make critical decisions related to project scope, timelines and resource allocation.
- Other duties as required or assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Experience in telecommunication industry strongly preferred
- At least two years working in a business environment with project management and administrative experience
- Exceptional aptitude with business correspondence, telephone skills, computer expertise including research and data analysis
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn tracking and project management software
- Strong interpersonal skills
