This is done through reviewing, interpreting, and understanding plans, specifications, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and other relevant documents to determine the scope of work of the project. Other responsibilities may include assisting project managers with bills of materials, budgeting, and sequencing work activities for both potential and awarded projects. You will need the ability to manage multiple projects at once, while ensuring timely and accurate execution. Additionally, you will visit customer facilities to assist in determining precise cost estimates for total project values and any necessary change orders.

A successful Installation Services Project Estimator must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. In addition, this position requires excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills for corresponding with co-workers as well as external customers and vendors
