Job Description
As the newest member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing, securing, and optimizing Azure-based infrastructure that powers our SmartCare™ EHR platform. You've spent 5+ years managing cloud-based Windows Server environments, preferably in the healthcare industry, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automating workflows. You have a robust toolbelt of expertise using Azure, Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes, to name a few. You thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, where your ability to communicate, document, and problem-solve makes a lasting impact. Spend your days:
- Designing and managing Cloud infrastructure on Azure, ensuring a robust, scalable, and secure platform that enables seamless access to patient records and applications
- Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible for repeatable, consistent, and automated deployments
- Automating administrative tasks, enhancing operational efficiency, and providing innovative solutions
- Implementing security measures that ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
- Creating clear and thorough documentation for infrastructure configurations, policies, and troubleshooting procedures
- Working closely with IT, security, DevOps, and project managers to align infrastructure strategies with organizational goals
- Supporting process improvement using a creative, strategic, and innovative approach to data governance
Qualifications
Show us your:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of professional experience designing and managing cloud-based Windows Server environments with expertise in Azure
- Advanced experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in automation tools like GitHub, PowerShell, and Python
- Microsoft Certifications in Azure Solutions Architecture, Azure Administration, or Azure Kubernetes will catch our attention
- Deep understanding of the product management lifecycle and its impact on infrastructure
- Refined communication, analytical, and documentation skills – you thrive in a team-oriented environment
- Intellectual curiosity - a mind that's always thinking about the best, most efficient, and cost-effective way to grow
- Outcome-focused, results-oriented mindset—you see challenges as opportunities and approach work with optimism
- Experience with database technologies, including Redis and SQL Server, is a plus
