Wage: $22 – $32/hr. (Depending on experience)
Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday

Twin City Staffing is now hiring a semiconductor process technician for a cutting-edge manufacturing facility. This position plays a critical role in the wafer fabrication process, supporting both production and R&D efforts. If you have experience with vacuum systems, deposition or etching tools, and enjoy working in a cleanroom environment, this is an exciting opportunity to grow your career in the semiconductor industry.
Duties of the semiconductor process technician:
- Operate and monitor PVD, CVD, ALD deposition systems, and wet/dry etch tools
- Execute wafer processing runs and make real-time process adjustments
- Perform pump-down and venting of vacuum systems safely and efficiently
- Handle wafers using robotic handlers and load locks
- Conduct in-process inspections and metrology checks (film thickness, etch depth, etc.)
- Maintain accurate records of process data, run sheets, and equipment logs
- Perform routine tool maintenance and troubleshoot equipment/process issues
Requirements of the Semiconductor Process Technician:
- Associate’s degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or equivalent technical Training
- 2+ years of experience in a semiconductor fabrication environment
- Familiarity with vacuum systems, high-purity gases, and process tools
- Knowledge of cleanroom practices and basic computer/data entry skills
- Ability to interpret process documentation and SOPs
Preferred experience:
- Experience with RIE, PECVD, or metal sputtering systems
- Familiarity with tools such as AMAT, LAM, or Tokyo Electron
- Prior work in a Class 10–1000 cleanroom environment
