Join a leading telecommunications company specializing in broadband services as an Assembly Technician. You will play a key role in the production and assembly processes, ensuring high-quality output in a dynamic and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble parts and components in a manufacturing setting with precision and attention to detail.
- Utilize hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and drills for assembly tasks.
- Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on electronics using soldering tools.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and production goals.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Essential Skills
- At least 1+ year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 6+ months of experience using common hand tools.
- Basic computer skills, specifically proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude, such as experience with car maintenance or home renovations.
- Soldering experience and the ability to repair electronics.
- Experience with circuit board assembly is a plus.

Work Environment
Work in a 'clean room' style production environment, where you will be required to wear special shoe inserts to prevent static charge damage. Join a team of over 50 floor workers, with clearly labeled work areas and designated walkways. Expect occasional overtime to meet project deadlines, with shifts from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM or 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM or 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, including weekends. The role offers a dynamic and engaging setting with a focus on safety and teamwork.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.50/hr.
