Probate & Estate Planning Associate Attorney
Job Description
Job Description
Jones Legal, PLLC is hiring an experienced Associate Attorney with a strong background in probate, estate planning, and estate litigation. This is not an entry-level role but is for someone who can step in on day one and take cases from start to finish with minimal supervision. You will manage a full caseload independently—including handling contested probate matters, drafting estate plans, making court appearances, and working closely with clients and support staff.
We’re looking for a confident self-starter who doesn’t need hand-holding and can juggle both routine and complex matters with efficiency and professionalism. This role also includes oversight of junior team members, with the opportunity to grow into a team leadership position as the firm scales.
This is a unique opportunity for an attorney who wants to grow into a leadership role, with a clear path to managing their own legal team. If you're a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values autonomy, impact, and upward mobility, we want to hear from you.

- Conduct legal research, prepare pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
- Provide strategic guidance and legal counsel to clients with professionalism and empathy
- Maintain proactive and responsive client communication throughout the case lifecycle

- Ensure all case deadlines, filings, and compliance requirements are met without supervision
- Collaborate with the firm owner to improve systems, workflows, and overall client experience
