Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment. Your work will directly contribute to the safety, efficiency, and productivity of our operations, supporting our site's business objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diverse tasks to install and upkeep production machinery.
  • Respond promptly to emergency repairs during production and conduct scheduled maintenance during machine servicing.
  • Utilize machinist skills for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Interpret equipment manuals and work orders to execute necessary maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose issues, replace or repair parts, and conduct testing and adjustments.
  • Implement routine preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
  • Undertake plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions as required.
  • Employ a range of hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
  • Identify and report faulty operations, defective materials, or unusual situations to supervisors.
  • Adhere strictly to safety regulations and maintain clean and organized work areas.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or needed.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to maneuver and bend under or around equipment.
  • Capable of lifting and moving objects weighing up to 75 pounds, occasionally handling heavier weights.

Work Environment:

  • Exposure to varying elements such as odor, heat, cold, moisture, chemicals, or noise.
