Job Title: Network Technician
Location: Anderson, South Carolina (5 days onsite)
Duration of the Contract: 12 months
Possibility for Extension: Yes
Interview Process: 1 round of virtual interview with camera on
Shift:
Night shift 6:00PM - 6:00AM
2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off
Schedule will allow for every other weekend off

Daily Responsibilities:
·& & & & & & & & Monitors Clemson network, server, and application elements, resolves incidents and service requests and/or consults with the subject matter expert team for incident resolution. Applies simple state-of-the-art technology to meet and improve the network control center.
·& & & & & & & & Control network and system processing. Responds to customer inquiries and alters via emails, incoming calls, and walk-ins. Conducts routine inspections on equipment and reports any abnormalities. Other operational duties as assigned, such as meetings, project work, administration and facilities requirements.
·& & & & & & & & Configure network and system resources and maintain corresponding system records and documentation. Provides Tier II support as per SME agreements. Performs periodic maintenance and monitoring of computer systems. Performs pre-configured port activations on network switches.
·& & & & & & & & Prepares and reviews documentation for use in operations for training and the knowledge base. Participates in training and cross-training for the Tier II. Provides customer service for all information and/or telecommunication network systems support areas.
