Job DescriptionAssembler: Loves Park, IllinoisOur client in Loves Park, Illinois is a manufacturing company that is committed to providing excellent service to their customers while producing a quality product. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings and assembly instructions, assembling components and subassemblies using hand and power tools, performing quality checks, troubleshooting assembly issues, and ensuring all products meet the required specifications before being sent to the next stage of production.Responsibilities of the Assembler:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
- Assemble components and subassemblies according to specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment.
- Inspect parts for defects or damage before assembly and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Perform quality checks at each stage of the assembly process to ensure compliance with standards.
- Test assembled drives to verify functionality and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues or malfunctions as they arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety guidelines and protocols.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve assembly processes and efficiency.
- Complete assembly tasks within specified timeframes to meet production targets.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance assembly skills and knowledge.
Assembler Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing preferred.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in assembly processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new assembly techniques and technologies.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required.
- Knowledge of Danfoss products and drives assembly processes is a plus.
Pay for Assembler:$18/hour, increase at hire on.AssemblerBenefits:
