Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Transportation Driver to support individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will assist individuals in maintaining independence, performing daily living skills, and accessing the community. You will also ensure safe and compliant vehicle operation for transportation needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform safety and maintenance inspections of vehicles daily.
- Transport individuals to appointments, activities, and other engagements while adhering to all vehicle operation rules and regulations.
- Communicate and document important information accurately.
- Maintain a safe and respectful environment while promoting individual choice and dignity.
Qualifications
- Minimum 25 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid Chauffeur’s license.
- Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, Non-violent Crisis Systems, and Medication Aid (or willingness to obtain).
- Must have reliable and safe transportation.
Pay
$20/hour
Schedule/Status:
This is position will be required to float between two programs: Community Supports and Life Opportunities. This position's primary responsibility will be transportation services and supplementing time to full time status with our Life Ops services. The ideal candidate for this opening would be flexible and have a "go with the flow" attitude.
