Role Objective:


As an Aviation Maintenance Apprentice in a Part 145 approved organization, you will licensed technicians in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of aircraft and aircraft components in compliance with EASA/FAA/CAA regulations. This is a hands-on training role designed to develop your technical skills and knowledge under close supervision in a controlled and safety-critical environment.


Essential Job Tasks:

  • Assist in scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on aircraft in accordance with approved procedures and documentation.
  • Support licensed technicians during troubleshooting, rectification, and component replacement activities.
  • Perform basic mechanical and electrical tasks under supervision, including inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed using appropriate maintenance logs and software systems.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are correctly used, calibrated, and stored in accordance with company procedures.
  • Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the maintenance facility.
  • Participate in training sessions, assessments, and reviews as part of the apprenticeship program.
  • Follow all instructions from certified maintenance and never perform tasks outside of training limits or approvals.

Work Authorization:

Must be authorized to work in the United States of America.


Work Environment:

  • Work is primarily performed in aircraft hangars, line maintenance areas, and workshops.
  • Exposure to high-noise areas, moving machinery, hydraulic fluids, and weather conditions.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory in designated zones.
  • Environment includes team-based work, adherence to strict safety regulations, and shift-based schedules including evenings or weekends depending on operational needs.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift and move parts and tools weighing up to 55 lbs.
  • Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders or aircraft structures.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
  • Must have normal color vision and good manual dexterity.
  • Tolerance for working in varying temperatures and physical endurance for extended periods of hands-on activity.

Travel:

Limited travel may be required.


Required Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Currently enrolled in or graduated from an approved Aircraft Maintenance Technician Program.
