We are looking for a skilled In House Counsel to join our team on a long-term contract basis remotely. We are based in Morristown, New Jersey. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of legal matters, including contract drafting, compliance, and regulatory processes. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in legal software systems and documentation, ensuring the organization operates within legal and ethical boundaries.


Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards.

• Utilize legal software and tools such as Adobe Acrobat and Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) to manage documentation efficiently.

• Provide guidance on regulatory and law-related matters, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations.

• Conduct audits and reviews to identify potential legal risks and implement corrective measures.

• Oversee claim administration processes, ensuring timely and accurate handling of legal claims.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address legal concerns related to LMR, HRMS, and other organizational systems.

• Maintain thorough documentation of legal proceedings and decisions for future reference.

• Monitor changes in law and regulations to update policies and practices accordingly.

• Proven experience in contract drafting and negotiation within a corporate setting.
• Proficiency in using legal software, including Adobe Acrobat and ACRIS.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and corporate law.
• Experience managing claims and legal documentation effectively.
• Ability to conduct audits and identify legal risks.
• Familiarity with HRMS and other organizational systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
