This position is responsible for monitoring production runs/orders through the molding machines, checking for quality, and maintaining a clean work area throughout Main Molding and Polycams.

Responsibilities

  • Attend up to five presses based on production schedules and manufacturing requirements.
  • Check all molded products hourly for defects.
  • Report any defects to Team Leader/Processor for timely correction and problem solving. If Team Leader/Processor is not available, notify Quality and Shift Supervisor.
  • Grind runners and check cappers for runners.
  • Clean track, bowls, conveyors, and upright conveyor as necessary.
  • Hygrade product for defects and perform quality checks.
  • Complete label, place on box, and ensure rejected and accepted product is separated.
  • Clean area to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Operate and monitor grinders and presses ensuring the product is manufactured in accordance with specifications, schedules, and deadlines.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area, keeping walkways and aisles clear.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties such as sweeping and trash removal.
  • Frequently lift/move up to and including 35 lbs.
  • Stand, walk, bend, crouch, squat, and reach as required by the job.

  • May perform Assembly and Inspection functions.
  • When work in primary classification is not available, may perform other duties according to skill and availability.

Schedule: 1st shift 6:42 am to 3:12 pm, 2nd shift 2:42 pm to 11:12 pm, 3rd shift 10:42 pm to 7:12 am.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Slatersville, Rhode Island.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
