Title: Acoustic Assembler 1st Shift (TEMP-TO-PERM)
Schedule: M-F 6:00am – 2:30pm
Location: Cedar Park, TX
Pay Rate: $17 an hour
Department: Acoustics Manufacturing

Job Overview:

Adecco is assisting a local client with an Acoustic Assembler position in Cedar Park, TX. This is a 1st shift position Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm. The Acoustic assembler mush have soldering experience. Experience

Job Functions:

  • 30%: Following blueprints fill in metal frame for acoustic walls, ceilings, or flooring by cutting sheet rock into required dimensions.

  • 30%: Applies adhesive glue on sheet rock ensuring seams are filled.

  • 20%: Cuts insulation per required dimensions and inserts into panel on top of glued sheet rock.

  • 20% Places sheet metal on “filled” panel for walls, ceilings, or floor.


Physical Demands:

  • Extreme ambulatory requirements – ability to stand/sit/move with no physical limitations or aids to perform activities. Lots of lifting, group efforts.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1+ years assembly experience.

  • 1+ years working in a manufacturing environment.

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 0–1 year experience in manufacturing environment.


Ability to

  • Use a variety of hand tools or equipment, measuring devices, drills, hammers, etc.

  • Perform simple math.

  • Read and interpret blueprints.

  • Listen, understand, and follow instructions.

  • Follow safety rules and procedures.

  • Do work as assigned by supervisor.

  • Work in a team environment, be quality conscious and strive for continuous quality improvement with emphasis on Lean and 5s principles.

  • Keep work area clean.

  • Wet paint panel as necessary.

  • Inform electrician if electrical conduit wiring is necessary.




Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
