Job DescriptionSalary: $16-$17/hr.

Prime Home Developmental Disability Services is a certified Nebraska DHHS provider to provide various services. These include residential and day service for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. By offering multiple services and individualized programs, we can provide a full circle of care in our programs. We have received a 2-Year Certification.


We have four day service locations in Sarpy County, each set up to serve a specific person and their abilities.

  • Milestones - Abilities - 981 Patricia Drive in Papillion, 1:1 and small group activities. Here our individuals enjoy music, arts & crafts, story time, baking and more.
  • Milestones - School - 701 Olson Dr Ste 108 in Papillion, all levels of students ages 12 through 20. Here, our students work on skills to achieve their IEP goals, including vocational and social skills. This is done through a variety of activities and community outings.
  • MilestonesOpportunities965 Patricia Dr in Papillion; 1:1, 2:1, and small group activities. Here, our individuals and staff enjoy time together and individually going into the community and having activities onsite.
  • Milestones - Connections - 8614 Giles Road in La Vista; 1:1 and small group activities. Here our individuals and staff spend time in the community as well as in house activities.

What you will do:

  • Work 1 on 1 or in small groups to support individuals and assist them in being independent.
  • Take individuals out in the community and on outings (parks, Do Space, Movies, libraries, shopping, restaurants and more)
  • Cooking classes onsite
  • Creative activities (Art, painting, crafting, and more)
  • Gardening in the greenhouse

Qualifications:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • Minimum age of 19 years
  • Pass a background investigation which includes a criminal history and an APS/CPS check.
  • Outstanding writing, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Attention to detail, good time management skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage stressful situations responsibly and effectively.
  • Provides input and assistance in planning and evaluating programs and clients goals.
  • Maintenance and documentation of records of clients accidents/incidents as required.
  • Physically capable of transferring, assisting with transfers, and lifting clients requiring physical assistance.
