IT Systems Support Analyst Wanted – Join CleanAir Engineering!
CleanAir Engineering, Inc. is a global leader in environmental consulting with over 50 years of expertise in air-related services. We provide air emissions testing, instrumentation rental, and custom equipment manufacturing. We are seeking a Systems Support Analyst to join our team in Palatine, Illinois. This in-office IT role offers a dynamic range of responsibilities, from cybersecurity tasks to server and network management, user support, and software/hardware oversight.
What You’ll Bring:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field—or a bachelor’s degree with significant IT experience.

Drive: Motivation to learn and research new technologies and solutions.

Organization: Proven ability to document issues, prioritize tasks, and manage inventories.

Independence: Strong self-management and ability to work unsupervised.

Collaboration: Effective communication skills to engage with diverse personnel.
Critical Experience:

Microsoft Azure cloud services including Entra ID, OneDrive, and Endpoint (Intune)
-
IP networking
-
Windows troubleshooting
-
Microsoft Office user support
-
Remote support (TeamViewer and related)
Preferred Knowledge:
-
Equipment purchasing and software license tracking.
-
Network design (structured cabling, VLANs, segmentation).
-
Synology NAS and backup/recovery strategies.
-
Experience with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, DFARS, or CMMC documentation.

Programming and scripting (4D, SQL, PowerShell, Python, JavaScript).

Familiarity with Google Workspace, macOS, and corporate security systems.
-
Data tools like Power BI and Deltek Vantagepoint.

VLAN configuration, network segmentation, troubleshooting

SonicWall
-
Building security (keycards, cameras, etc.)
-
DNS (DKIM/DMARC/SPF)
