Construction Project Engineer (Entry Level)

We are looking for a Construction Jr. Project Engineer to support our project teams. This is an entry-level role that does not require an engineering degree but does require strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn and work on exciting, fast-paced projects.

Job Responsibilities:

Project Coordination & Support (30%)

  • Assist in tracking project schedules and deliverables.
  • Support weekly project meetings by preparing notes and tracking action items.
  • Help resolve project-related issues by escalating concerns to senior team members.

Client & Team Communication (30%)

  • Support communication between contractors, clients, and project teams.
  • Maintain project documentation and update stakeholders on project status.
  • Help ensure project requirements are aligned with client expectations.

Project Administration & Controls (20%)

  • Assist in tracking project budgets and reviewing costs with senior staff.
  • Help with document control, ensuring all project files are up to date.
  • Work with the project team to monitor progress and flag potential delays.

Site Support & Travel (20%)

  • Visit project sites as needed to assist with coordination.
  • Support construction activities by ensuring tasks are completed as planned.
  • Learn and apply basic quality and safety procedures on-site.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in construction, project coordination, or a related field is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in construction management, engineering, or a related field).
  • Smart, self-starter with a strong willingness to learn and take initiative.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up on deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with project management tools is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
