Job Description
Supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating associates, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met within the department. Prepare and present verbal and written reports, manage paperwork, scheduling, and desk work, and oversee an average of 20 employees.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate activities of associates engaged in production or processing of goods.
- Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other reports to determine production requirements.
- Demonstrate equipment operations and work and safety procedures to new associates or assign associates to mentors.
- Observe work, monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure operators conform to production standards.
- Maintain operations data such as time, production, and cost records, and prepare management reports.
- Recommend or implement measures to motivate associates and improve production methods and equipment.
- Determine standards, budgets, production goals, and rates based on company policies, equipment, and labor.
- Support and monitor ERP system.
- Manage hold parts and handoff to production coordinator.
- Justify weekly timesheets.
Essential Skills
- 4+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 4+ years of foundry/casting experience.
- Experience in supervision, casting, and foundry operations.
- Management and leadership communication skills.
- Quality control and mold-making experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Experience setting up and operating manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
- Must be physically capable of walking for the entire work shift and lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to work from heights with proper PPE.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.34 - $32.03/hr.
