About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to take the lead in connecting cutting-edge technology with the AI developer community. As an AI Developer Advocate, you’ll bridge the gap between users and engineering by creating compelling, real-world use cases and guiding product evolution. Your goal will be to evangelize a powerful open-source query engine designed for multimodal workloads, helping developers understand its capabilities and apply it to groundbreaking AI systems.
Responsibilities

Developer Engagement: Partner with engineers, researchers, and product teams to uncover challenges in multimodal data processing and develop solutions that showcase the engine’s capabilities.

Content Creation: Design technical content, tutorials, blog posts, videos, and sample projects that demonstrate advanced use-cases, such as:

Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems integrating video, images, and documents

AI agents navigating and reasoning over large-scale, unstructured data

Pipelines for training foundation models with multimodal datasets

Complex workflows involving text, image, and video generation
-
Real-time ingestion pipelines for AI assistants consuming diverse media inputs

Community Engagement: Represent the technology at meetups, conferences, and other community events to grow awareness and user adoption.

Product Feedback: Relay insights from users to shape the product roadmap, ensuring features align with practical, high-impact use cases.
Requirements

Solid foundation in AI/ML and experience working with multimodal data

Proficiency in distributed systems, data engineering, or backend infrastructure

Demonstrated success in creating technical content and public speaking

Strong ability to simplify and communicate complex ideas to technical audiences

Open-source contributor experience is a plus
