We are seeking dedicated and motivated general production workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to stand for a 10-hour shift and have at least six months of warehouse experience. While the ability to lift 50 lbs is necessary, we value a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Mechanically assemble various antenna/jumper/connector products and package finished goods for shipment.
  • Inspect and test assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Learn and follow Q&EMS policies, procedures, and instructions.
  • Support environmental impact minimization efforts by adhering to waste management program procedures and following safety protocols.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Ensure efficient and effective use of resources to meet delivery requirements while achieving quality and safety standards.
  • Ensure team members follow defined manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements.
  • Follow the escalation procedure for quality concerns.
  • Ensure the team is aware of day-to-day targets and responsibilities.
  • Train coworkers in cross-functional activities for products and processes.
  • Collaborate with support functions to define relevant processes/procedures/controls for team activities.
  • Provide support and input to continuous improvement activities within the team.

Essential Skills

  • Order picking, order selecting, material handling, inventory, picking, packing, general labor, loading, unloading, pallet jack.
  • Six months of order selecting/picker packer experience.
  • Six months of warehouse experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to lift between 15-30 lbs.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Experience with RF scanners, shipping, and receiving.
  • General production experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read and speak English for safety reasons; applicants with English as a second language are considered.
  • Able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
  • Able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.

Work Environment

Our facility is temperature-controlled, ensuring a comfortable work environment. You will stand through the duration of your shift. The dress code includes t-shirts, sweatshirts, knee-length shorts, pants, or jeans. Please note that leggings, crocs, and sandals are not permitted. Closed-toed shoes or sneakers are required. The team consists of approximately 350 employees, including 85-90 temporary workers. The first shift operates from Monday to Thursday, 5:30 am to 4:00 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Liverpool, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
