Position Title: Project Manager
Location: Rockville, Maryland
Clearance Requirement: Must be eligible for High Risk Public Trust
Position Type: Full-Time
Overview:
The Project Manager will lead a federal document processing operation, overseeing daily workflow execution, team supervision, and compliance with contract requirements and performance standards. The role requires at least some familiarity with American Sign Language (ASL) and experience with scheduling and transcription services.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of document intake, preparation, scanning, indexing, publishing, and database maintenance.

Supervise cross-trained staff and maintain consistent, efficient operations.

Maintain and update SOPs and ensure compliance with government policies.

Provide regular reports, oversee inventory of government-furnished equipment, and support quality control.

Conduct sign language interpretation and coordinate transcription services as needed.

Lead processing assessments and suggest improvements to workflows and technologies.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (or 4 additional years of equivalent experience).

Minimum 4 years of relevant project management and records management experience.

Proficiency in ASL and experience coordinating transcription services.

Strong organizational, reporting, and communication skills.

Familiarity with federal records policies and electronic document management systems preferred.
