Job Description:
Leads advanced intelligence operations, directing comprehensive research, collection, and intricate analysis of information across all intelligence disciplines. Proactively identifies and evaluates complex threats, develops nuanced assessments, and recommends strategic courses of action that directly shape high-level organizational decisions.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for authoring and overseeing the implementation and dissemination of critical strategic and tactical intelligence, ensuring its precise and timely delivery to key stakeholders. Establishes methodologies for determining the priority, validity, and reliability of all incoming information, acting as a subject matter expert in sifting through vast, ambiguous data to derive actionable intelligence that drives operational success.
Duties:
- Leads and directs advanced intelligence research, collection, and complex analysis across all intelligence disciplines (e.g., HUMINT, SIGINT, OSINT, MASINT, GEOINT, IMINT) to proactively identify, evaluate, and interpret sophisticated threats.
- Develops and recommends strategic courses of action based on in-depth intelligence assessments, directly informing high-level decision-making and policy development.
- Authors, reviews, and oversees the implementation and dissemination of critical strategic and tactical intelligence products and briefings for senior leadership, inter-agency partners, and operational teams, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Establishes and refines methodologies for determining the priority, validity, and reliability of diverse incoming intelligence information, serving as a subject matter expert in complex data sifting and validation.
- Provides expert mentorship and guidance to junior intelligence analysts, fostering skill development and ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards.
- Acts as a primary liaison and subject matter expert for complex intelligence matters, coordinating with inter-agency partners, allied nations, and internal departments.
- Identifies significant intelligence gaps and formulates advanced collection requirements to address evolving national security challenges.
- Conducts quality assurance and peer reviews of intelligence products and assessments developed by other analysts.
- Contributes to the development of intelligence policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Leads or participates in specialized intelligence working groups and task forces addressing critical national security priorities.

Supervisor Responsibilities:
Applicant could be required to uphold supervisory duties based on the contract requirements.
Clearance Required:
Applicants must have an active TS/SCI clearance with an adjudicated active CI Polygraph with willingness to participate in the Contractor Polygraph Program. Applicants must be able to submit documentation establishing U.S. Person status upon hiring. All ISA employees are required to uphold and maintain trustworthiness and suitability requirements of the U.S. federal government.
Experience Required:
Experience should include but is not limited to working knowledge of:
- A minimum of five (5) years of intelligence analysis work experience in the US Intelligence Community (IC) writing raw and/or tactical intelligence products.
- Experience and/or familiarity with intelligence requirements and processes.
- Minimum of three (3) years of leadership and/or supervisory experience
- Strong interpersonal ability, demonstrated by at least three (3) years of experience working on a multi-disciplined team or within a team environment.
- Strong editorial and grammatical skills, demonstrated by at least two (2) years of experience in copy editing, print-publishing, or other writing-heavy responsibilities.
- At least five (5) years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite products, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Preferred:
- Program manager with previous military, law enforcement, or other federal government/non-USIC experience
- Candidates with hard science or technical background are preferred but not required
- Any experience having certified release authority to release and/or disseminate intelligence products
Education:
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university
Certification:
None required.

Salary at ISA is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The salary range for this position varies dependent on years of experience, relevant certifications and education. Salary is just one component of ISA's total compensation package for employees.
Starting Salary Ranges:
- Intelligence Analyst: $110,891.00
