Job Description
Join our team as a Machinery Inspection and Maintenance Specialist, where your expertise will ensure the seamless operation and high-quality production of our stainless steel manufacturing processes. You will play a critical role in maintaining compliance with specifications and optimizing machinery performance to reduce malfunctions and production losses.
Responsibilities
- Inspect machinery and workpieces to ensure compliance with specifications and minimize malfunctions.
- Dress grinding wheels according to specifications to maintain peak machine capability.
- Stop machines when problems are discovered and make quick adjustments to minimize disruptions.
- Provide quality control by inspecting workpieces and removing defective pieces.
- Operate polishing and grinding equipment to meet prescribed specifications.
- Finish products by hand using hand tools to ensure proper surface finishing.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks, including lubrication and cleaning, to keep equipment running efficiently.
- Conduct basic repairs, replacing worn or broken parts as needed within the scope of your knowledge.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in operating hand and power tools.
- Experience with pneumatic and air tools.
- Skill in grinding, deburring, and assembly processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with fabrication techniques.
- Experience with quality control processes.

Work Environment
Work in a cutting-edge dairy and pharmaceutical grade stainless steel manufacturing facility. The environment includes advanced equipment such as power tools and pneumatic systems. The role operates on the 1st shift from Monday to Thursday with 4-10 hour days, starting between 4 am to 6 am, with minimal overtime on Fridays.

This is a Permanent position based out of Madison, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41000.00 - $57000.00/yr.
