Position: OSP Engineer
Location: Indiana
Pay Range: $65K+ per year (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the design of new fiber networks from start to finish, including backbone feeder design, FTTH, and enterprise business services.
- Create and maintain detailed fiber design documents and communicate with fiber engineers and stakeholders.
- Engineer aerial and underground fiber plant designs, including coordinating with vendors for pole loading analysis and make-ready.
- Prepare and manage permits for ROW, Railroad, and DOTs.
- Perform quality checks on construction prints and splicing sheets submitted by contractors.
- Offer valuable insights into best practices, field construction methods, and telecom products.
- Contribute to greenfield FTTH network planning and ensure projects meet safety and legal standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Required Education: High School Diploma (Bachelor's degree in STEM preferred)
- Experience: 3-5 years in Outside Plant Design with 1-2 years in FTTH (Fiber to the Home) design.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS software, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in aerial and underground fiber construction
- Understanding of OSHA safety standards
- Knowledge of OSP Engineering/Construction practices
- PON Fiber Network planning experience is a plus
- Certifications: OSHA, CPR, CDL (preferred but not required)
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving.
